Kane Parsons drops 'Backrooms' special footage on YouTube
Kane Parsons has dropped new “Backrooms” special footage on YouTube, nearly three months after the film of the same name hit theaters.
On Tuesday, Kane released a new video titled “Everything Must Go,” a 16-minute short film in which the Async research institute explores a store featuring repeating “Everything Must Go” signs arranged in bizarre patterns.
The newly uploaded bonus material was shown after the end credits of “Backrooms” during its “Everything Must Go Edition” re-release in cinemas.
Produced by A24, “Backrooms” is based on Kane’s YouTube series and the creepypasta about an endless maze of rooms. It stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell.
The film became A24’s first movie to surpass the $200 million mark at the global box office. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA News
