Liza Soberano, H.E.R., 'Forgotten Island' filmmakers to visit Manila for homecoming celebration

Liza Soberano is set to return to the Philippines with the cast and filmmakers of the upcoming animated film “Forgotten Island.”

Joining Liza are Filipina-American singer H.E.R., director Januel Mercado, and filmmakers Joel Crawford and Mark Swift for the film’s special homecoming celebration, dubbed “Tayo Na, Philippines!”

According to Universe Pictures Philippines, the event will take place on August 25 at 7 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium.

Forgotten Island” is set to open in cinemas nationwide on September 23.

It follows the journey of two childhood best friends, Raissa (Liza) and Jo (H.E.R.) as they try to find their way home after ending up on a mysterious island.

Aside from Liza and H.E.R., the movie also stars Lea Salonga, Dave Franco, Dolly de Leon, Manny Jacinto, Jenny Slate, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng.
