Remembering Courageous Caitie

Three-year-old Caitlin Lucas has passed away but her parents ensured that memories of her will remain.

Jayjay and Feliz Lucas posted old photos of Catie in her Facebook page, "Courageous Catie," sharing stories of their daughter in the captions.

"Sometimes I hate being a photographer... I have too many beautiful photos of you. You were supposed to be my apprentice in a few years, you always helped me pack my gear bag before a shoot and give a kiss and embrace," Jayjay said in a post.

They also said that they were both pained and grateful for the photos and videos that will remind them of Catie.

"Grateful for the videos and photos but there are times when I realized that my son would grow up and grow old and I'd be stuck with videos with our little girl as a 3 yr old. But as I run down the life that she lived, no day was lost," they said.

Catie died on March 31 due to juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia or JMML. —Jessica Bartolome/JST, GMA News
