Film royalty walk red carpet for Cannes’ 70th anniversary

The Cannes Festival celebrated its 70th anniversary by bringing together film royalty as well as former Palme d'Or winners.

Among those in attendance were Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Tilda Swinton, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Jessica Chastain, Uma Thurman and Isabelle Huppert.

Former winners of the Palme D'or, including Ken Loach, Michael Haneke and Jane Campion also posed for a group photo on the red carpet

The film festival will end on May 28.
