Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin had the best time at SONA 2017

President Rodrigo Duterte's second State of the Nation Address last Monday sent people in a tizzy, but despite the tiffs that his statement may have started, the event at least provided a platform for Filipino fabric and design.

Providing extra glamour to the red carpet was Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin from Ecuador, who was beyond extra in modeling her Oliver Tolentino gown.

On Instagram, the beauty queen shared photos from every angle as she worked the ornate black Filipiniana, which she said she wore for the first time.

Proof that she's extra? She shared snaps — 20 photos, we counted them — from all over the House of Representatives! She's clearly determined to fulfill her role as an appointed Philippine Ambassador of Tourism.
