This punk promotes 'Ukay' clothes by donning them

Meet 25-year-old Jake Castillo, an attendant in one of the makeshift Ukay stalls on Hidalgo Street in Quiapo.

Every day he'd make a fashion statement by wearing a new layout of clothes from the pre-loved items for sale "to convince the people passing by to buy our ukay products."

Says Jake, "I notice a big increase in sales when I start wearing the clothes we sell."

A lot of people ask him if he owns the ukay stall he mans, but alas "the owner of the stall doesn't even know I am doing this!"
