On social media, Kensington Royale released sketches of the dress, saying Meghan — or The Duchess of Sussex as she is now called — and “Ms. Waight Keller worked closely together on the design.”

It was also Clare who did The Duchess' beautiful veil, which featured flora from the 53 Commonwealth countries including Southeast Asian countries Singapore, Brunei, and Malaysia.

Givenchy also released the sketches on IG, saying The Duchess wore the dress "as a timeless piece as a timeless piece to emphasize the iconic codes of the House throughout its history as well as to convey modernity through sleek lines and sharp cuts."

It also mentioned how the dress was made from "six meticulously placed seams" with the bateau neckline framing the bride's shoulders and emphasizing her waist.
