Miss Intercontinental showcases Filipiniana, queens from Asia and Oceania rock the look

Beadwork, intricate embroidery, and playful ribbons were highlighted during the 47th Miss Intercontinental pageant's Filipiniana Fashion Show on Thursday. Designers built on the iconic butterfly sleeves, adding cultural flourishes to the garb based on the candidate's home country.

The beauty queens from Asia and Oceania sashayed down the runway wearing masterful designs by Filipino couturiers, all of whom showcased the elegant silhouette created by the traditional Filipiniana. 

The 47th Miss Intercontinental coronation night will be held on January 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena. — GMA News
