This bag collection is made with recycled PET plastic bottles

With the increasing harm that fashion contributes to the environment, brands have started to look into making their products more sustainable.

Lifestyle brand Pacsafe took a step closer into making a change as it launches Metrosafe X, a sustainable bag collection made with...recycled PET plastic bottles.

Pacsafe said the whole collection is designed for both sustainability and durability and that they are "committed for cleared waterways and cleaner streets wherever you choose to roam."

“Metrosafe X was designed and made with the conscious travelers in mind — for those who are driven by exciting adventures but also aim to have a positive impact on the world. With this new collection, Pacsafe stays true to its promise of protecting your valuables, while at the same time, protecting the planet,”   Pacsafe’s Marketing Communications Manager Melissa Taruc said in a press statement.

The Metrosafe X collection offers sustainable bags in various types including backpack, compact crossbody, vertical crossbody and messenger.

No less than 8 PET bottles are used for the bags.
