7 fresh drops from local beauty brands perfect for the Filipina skin
The local beauty scene has never been as dynamic as it is today.
More and more local brands are popping up, and more and more of them have been coming up with new formulas, shades, palettes, collections that are perfect for Filipina skin.
Allows us to make a run down of fresh products to keep you up to the minute.
1. Happy Skin's Multi-Use Mousse
Happy Skin never really fails to amaze us with its innovative products — from pretty packaging to its high quality formula. It's no wonder celebrities keep collaborating with them!
Just last week, the local brand dropped its newest product, the Color Play multi-use mousse.
The brand described Color Play as a "silky, weightless, pigmented, buildable liquid mousse that you can play with on your lips, cheeks and lids."
It's also non-sticky, long-wearing, and blendable. It comes in five shades: Stardust, Peach Bum, Sun-kKissed, Señorita and Flamingo

2. The Milk Tea lippie from Sunnies Face Nude-Ish Collection
Milk tea is not just a drink; nowadays it has also become a beauty trend. First becoming popular as a hair color, makeup brands are now embracing it as a lipstick shade.
Sunnies Face released a "milk tea" shade as part of their Nude-Ish collection, describing it as a "warm beige nude."
The Nude-Ish collection is made up of five other shades of nude, just as pretty as milk tea, including Baby Spice (cool blush nude), On Repeat (rose mauve nude), Casual (peach brown nude), Bday (taupe brown nude), and Brunette (reddish brown nude). Price: P345
3. Skin Potions Multi-Use creamy blush/highlighter
We all love multi-functional products, don't we?

4. Filipinta beauty palette
Filipinta, a cruelty-free local brand, just released Kabal, a beauty palette with four versatile shades inspired by talismans and charms in Philippine folklore.
Putik is the classic brown shade. Lingling-O is the lively reddish shade that can also be used as a blush. Muteal is a muted gold shimmer, and finallu Gayuma, a sultry brown maroon pressed glitter. Price: P580
5. Butterfly Kisses Cosmetics' powder blush
Another local brand to keep our eye on? Butterfly Kisses Cosmetics, which released their newest powder blush.
The Butterfly Kisses Powder Blush comes in ten no-tapon pigmented shades — Nude Rose, Lit, Cool Fuchsia, Warm Coral, Peachy Pink, Bronzed Rose, Orchid Mauve, Flushed, Dusty Pink and Tango — that can double as an eyeshadow, much like what Kylie Padilla did in her recent makeup tutorial. Price: P399
6. Careline nude lipstick collection
Careline is stepping up its game! Just last week, they dropped their affordable soft sude nude lipstick collection.
The local brand introduced its newest lip product as "moisturizing creamy-matte finish, pigmented yet lightweight, paraben-free, cruelty-free, lead-free, and vegan."
It comes in in six nude shades: Vibe (rose mauve), Mood (peach brown), Trophy (terracotta), Icon (rosy brown), Fire (brick red) and Spice (crimson red). Price: P175
7.BLK Little Luxuries
If you love BLK products so much you want to bring it with you to parties and to your travels it's now become doable as they released their newest BLK Little Luxuries.
They transformed some of their bestsellers into "glam minis" making it more handy.
