Select Uniqlo branches resume operations amid lifting of quarantine restrictions

Clothing brand Uniqlo is opening select branches following the implementation of modified enhanced and general community quarantine in various areas all over the Philippines.

“In response to the lifting of government regulations on clothing retail stores, select UNIQLO stores will resume to open,” Uniqlo wrote in an announcement on their website.

As they reopen some of their branches, UNIQLO will be implementing special measures to “provide a safe and comfortable experience for everybody, in line with the community quarantine store guidelines.”

Customers are required to wear masks inside the store at all times.

During busy periods only a limited number of people may be allowed inside the store.

Social distancing is also required among staff and customers when lining up for the register or fitting rooms.

Temperature check will be done upon the customers’ arrival at the store. Those with 37.6 degrees Celsius and above body temperature will not be allowed to enter.

Uniqlo employees will also wear masks at all times, frequently wash their hands and disinfect their stores.
