3 easy but stylish ‘mom looks’ to cop from Luane Dy-Gonzales

Even with the threat of COVID-19, many mothers still brave the outside world to provide for their families.

Work-from-home moms also need quick, sensible outfits at the ready for Zoom calls and important errands.

This is why we asked Kapuso host, actress and first-time mommy Luane Dy-Gonzales to share some of her go-to "mom looks" that are not only stylish but also functional and easy to put together.

1. The Multifunctional Mom

Breastfeeding moms need to give their kids easy access to milk at all times. However, this doesn't necessarily mean you have to sacrifice fashion and style.

This is why Luane, in partnership with Bfeeding MUM, designed an entire collection of ready-to-wear clothes that can make breastfeeding easier for moms.

Her "Hiraya" dress, for example, is loose and comfy but it has a handy drawstring that can give your look some instant shape. It also has reversible patterns, which give you two #OOTDs in one.

2. The Warrior Mom

After becoming a mom herself, Luane saw the beauty (and comfort) of a sensible pair of pants.

“Pag tumatakbo na 'yung anak mo, syempre kailangan mong maghabol," she told GMA News Online. "Mas comfortable din naman yung naka-pants diba?"

Luane's "Urduja" designs -- composed of breezy shirts and pants -- are perfect for active warrior moms like herself.

3. The 'Diwata' Mom

Being a mom is no easy task, and Luane said dressing up once in a while is a great way to show self-love and appreciation.

"'Pag feeling mong maganda ka, masarap 'yung feeling mo, you feel good because you look good," she said.

Luane Dy-Gonzales just collaborated with Bfeeding MUM for a collection of ready-to-wear creations designed to make life easier and fashionable -- not just for her fellow mommies -- but women in general.

The #MUMxLDG line features gorgeous dresses and mix-and-match pieces that are perfect for breastfeeding mommies.

"S'yempre mauuna ang comfort at easy access -- kami na po ang bahala sa style!" Luane said. – RC, GMA News
