This underwear promises sanitary protection for girls

Ladies, if you're so over the hassles of tagos common to sanitary pads and cannot seem to get the hang of tampons, and more so menstrual cups, will you give this pair of underwear a chance?

Uniqlo just launched the Airism Absorbent Sanitary Shorts. It's made to look like your usual underwear but its crotch features three layers that can both absorb and repel liquid. 

According to an Instagram post, the new pair of panties "quickly absorbs up to 25 to 35 milliliters of liquid and designed to prevent leaks with a water resistant layer." 

On its website, Uniqlo said the panties have been stitched in such a way that leakage will be prevented from the stitch holes, "while a waterproof layer at the back helps prevent leaks when lying down."

What more: It also has odor control features.

It's made with the beloved Airism fabric dry technology so it's presko and comfortable and securely fits you.

The Airism Absorbent Sanitary Shorts, priced at P790 each, is available in three sizes and colors: black, green, and navy blue.
