Cathy Ang reveals she got to wear Chanel, Miu Miu, other designer creations for HBO’s ‘And Just Like That...’

Are you a "Sex And The City" fan? Well, the story continues in the new HBO series "And Just Like That..."—and so does the fashion.

Kristin Davis reprises her fabulous role as Charlotte York-Goldenblatt, who now has a daughter named Lily played by Filipino-Chinese actress Cathy Ang.

In a recent online interview, Cathy shared how her role dramatically changed her own idea of fashion.

"The fashion on this show is just visionary,"  she told GMA News Online.

"I, personally, as Cathy, I don't know a lot about fashion, and this show gave an opportunity to learn, so much and really appreciate what it means to be able to wear art. To just wear someone’s expression," she added.

"It's very special, and I didn't think I really understood it until I was on the show."

To "look the part" of Lily, Cathy was dressed in a flurry designer creations, including pieces from Chanel, Miu Miu, Valentino, Gucci, and many more.

She also got the chance to wear a stunning, custom-fit gown by Oscar dela Renta.

"That piece is classical, beautiful, sweeping and, honestly, I think I looked the part," Cathy said.

"Because the team … they make every piece feel like it was made for you, you know? They take every piece and make sure that it is you, that it represents your character, that it is your character, and so I've just been blessed."

As a true testament to just how fabulous the "Sex in the City" wardrobe can be, Cathy also dished about pieces she tried on that "no one would even see."

"The things that I wear on this show just blow my mind and, also, there are a lot of things that I got to try on in my fittings that you’ll never see," she told GMA News Online.

"I'll just have it as my own little secret, that I got to put on this and that by this designer, and that designer. Anyway, it's pretty wild!"

Apart from being an up-and-coming Hollywood actress, Cathy Ang is also a singer who wowed audiences when she voiced Fei Fei in Netflix animated film "Over The Moon" (2020). – RC, GMA News
