Escolta market offers pre-loved designer clothes, shoes, other items for free this weekend

Want to have designer clothes and shoes but your budget is a little too tight this week?

If you don't mind second-hand goods, head to the Really Really Free Market in Escolta, Manila and get what you want—for free!

According to Vonne Aquino's report on "24 Oras Weekend," the market is open this Saturday and Sunday.

"I think the goal of the Really Really Free market is to give everyone a taste of giving and taking without expectation, with no strings attached. So it's really fostering a community of generosity," said event organizer Jodinand Aguillon.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., customers may take anything that can fit in one bag. After this, they can take more than the limit until 7 p.m.

"Giving and taking is obviously done freely but it's really important to also remember to only take what you need so that everyone can experience the joy of the Really Really free market," Aguillon said.

The goods in the market came from donations from the event participants, who can also take stuff that they want.

Aside from clothes and shoes, you can also find plants, books, and other things from the market.
