What will First Lady Liza Marcos wear on SONA 2022?

First Lady Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos will wear a traditional terno for President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday afternoon.

Her terno, made of heavy stretch georgette, was designed with piña calado, victorian lace, and gold. It was crafted by Filipino designer Lesley Mobo, who also made her terno during Marcos' inauguration on June 30.

The First Lady's pair of shoes, meanwhile, was crafted by Lila Almario.

The President is set to deliver his first SONA later at 4:00 p.m. He is expected to discuss his administration's COVID-19 response, measures to help the economy recover, and his plans to ensure food security, among others. — LA, GMA News
