Eyewear brand releases new reading glasses made of recycled polyester
It's always a "yes" for us when it comes to brands actively taking care of the environment by using sustainable materials in their products!
Homegrown eyewear brand Sunnies Studios released its first-ever reading glasses collection responsibly made with recycled polyester. The best part is aside from the eco-friendly product, it also comes in the packaging of a biodegradable box.
Dubbed as the "Readers," these new prescription-free frames are equipped with scratch-resistant lenses, which allow you to have clear vision at close range.
The "Readers" come in various lens powers from +1.00 to +3.00 diopters, with three classic eyewear styles and two versatile colorways of Slate (white ombre) and Mushroom (gray ombre).
If you're uncertain about what power grade to choose, the best way to find the right lens is to try on different pairs and see which works best.
Take note: choosing the wrong lens power can give you unwanted side effects such as headaches and eye strain, so choosing the right one for you is essential.
Previously, Sunnies Studios introduced a sunglasses collection made with biodegradable materials.
Here's hoping more brands follow suit in switching to sustainable ways!
