R’Bonney Gabriel is an elegant queen on her latest magazine cover
Make way for the queen! R’Bonney Gabriel is a vision in a chic off-white gown on the cover of Tatler Philippines’ June issue.
The magazine pulled all the stops as Miss Universe was photographed by top fashion photographer Nigel Barker in New York City.
Calling it an “incredible opportunity” to be the cover star, R’Bonney talked about her advocacies for diversity, inclusivity, and sustainable fashion.
“It was a dream come true to shoot with your team,” she said on Instagram.
R'Bonney was also able to talk about inspiring women to not feel restricted by their age. At 28, she is the oldest winner of Miss Universe.
“No matter what age you are at, you can still conquer what you want to do. Age should never hold us back from anything," she told Tatler.
R’Bonney was crowned Miss Universe in January and is the first Filipino-American queen to have the title.
She recently visited the Philippines as the special guest for the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night. She was also able to reunite with her family and visit her dad’s home street in Malate.
