Make way for the Filipina Winnah!
Marina Summers is a total stunner on the cover of Preview’s April issue.
The Filipina drag artist posed with the scenic Batlag Falls in Tanay, Rizal in the background, wearing a flowy bright red gown fit for the queen that she is.
In her interview, Marina spoke about her time competing on “RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World” and redefining what it means to be a modern Filipina.
Marina Summers finished in third place in the second season of “RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World.” The series’ winner, or the Queen of the Mothertucking World, is UK queen, Tia Kofi.
Marina was the only Asian contestant on the show where she showcased Filipino culture all throughout. She made an unforgettable entrance on the show with a stunning Filipiniana look and even made netizens LOL after she used Durabox as her luggage. She was also a frontrunner, having won three Ru Badges in the first six episodes.
Additionally, Marina made a top hit with “AMAFILIPINA,” her version of Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera.”
She previously competed in the first season of “Drag Race Philippines,” where she was the runner-up.
