R'Bonney Gabriel hopes to dress Heart Evangelista, Anne Curtis with her works

R'Bonney Gabriel continues to design and sew clothes using local fabrics despite her busy schedule during her stay in the Philippines.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the Miss Universe 2022 said that she has already collected a lot of fabric, including those from Divisoria and Sultan Kudarat.

"I was gifted piña fabric the other day," the sustainable fashion designer said.

R'Bonney also hopes that she could make a piece for Anne Curtis and also Heart Evangelista, whom she saw when they both graced a competition for young designers.

"I really admire Anne Curtis-Smith a lot, so I would love to dress her, and also, Heart Evangelista was here tonight, so I saw her, she looked beautiful," she said.

R'Bonney returned to the Philippines last month and immediately experienced the brutal summer heat.

"Y'all said it was hot but I'm not sure I packed right for this heat," she said on Instagram.

She will be hosting the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night on May 22, where Michelle Dee is set to crown her successor.

R'Bonney will co-host alongside Alden Richards and Jeannie Mai.
