Michael V. and Linya-Linya collaborate for whimsical T-shirt

Michael V. and Linya-Linya dropped a new shirt and it’s telling everybody to not lose their inner child.

The limited-edition black shirt features the text, “Maging pusong bata” or “Be a child at heart,” which is Michael V.’s message about never forgetting that mindset of youthful optimism and curiosity regardless of one’s age

The "Maging Pusong Bata" collaboration stemmed from a #BitoyStory vlog, which highlighted the actor’s hobby of toy-collecting as an adult and the fulfillment he gets from it.

"Huwag tayong maging isip-bata. Dapat, pusong-bata," Michael V. said in his vlog

His words struck a chord with Linya-Linya.

“Maraming natuwa at na-inspire sa unang collab namin with Sir Bitoy,” said Linya-Linya Creative Director Ali Sangalang. "This year, itutuloy natin ang pag-amplify at pag-campaign ng important message ni Mr. Michael V. para sa atin—na sa harap ng challenges of adulting and life in general, ‘wag sana nating kalimutan at bitiwan ang ating inner child.

The shirt is available for pre-order on www.linyalinya.ph, and will also be sold at TOYCON 2024 from June 14 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

TOYCON is the ultimate event for all things toys, comics, anime, and nurturing that inner child. The first 100 buyers will get a free limited edition Michael V. sticker pack.

The shirt is in line with Bitoy’s 2020 collaboration with Linya-Linya, which also touched on not losing one’s sense of playfulness.

Michael V. renewed his contract with GMA Network in March. He is one of the stars of the long-running Kapuso shows “Bubble Gang” and “Pepito Manaloto.”

Bitoy was the special guest on the 300th episode of “Amazing Earth,” and was also part of the cast of “Voltes V: Legacy,” where he voiced the robot, Octo-1.

The King of Philippine Parody and comedy icon recently released spoofs of “Raining in Manila” by Lola Amour, “Uhaw” by Dilaw, and “Pasilyo” by SunKissed Lola.
