A closer look at Emma Tiglao's Miss Grand International 2025 gown
Emma Tiglao was crowned Miss Grand International 2025, marking a back-to-back win for the Philippines after CJ Opiaza claimed the golden crown in 2024.
For the finale night of the international pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand, Emma donned a bright, head-turning ensemble by renowned Filipino designer Rian Fernandez, known for crafting exquisite pageant gowns.
The designer wrote on Instagram that the fiery number symbolizes “the regal rebirth of a phoenix returning to triumph.”
The gown features a strapless sweetheart neckline and was hand-embroidered with gems and crystals all the way to the train. It’s paired with a full circular, voluminous feather cape, adding flair to her look.

During the Top 10 speech, Emma spoke out against corruption in the Philippines and other pressing issues.
In the Top 5 Q&A, the finalists were asked: “Scammers are an online threat, a form of warfare often tied to human trafficking that has global consequences. What penalties do you think could help dismantle these operations?"
Emma answered: “As someone who reports this kind of stories, I really want to use the power of balance—us people to be educated and aware for us to not be scammed and the help of the government to enhance their justice system for the scammers to be behind bars, to be accountable. 'Cause one day, I hope that we will live in a peaceful world where no one should deceive just to survive. Thank you.”
Emma won the Miss Grand Philippines 2025 crown in August.
