The city of Tabaco in Albay decided to go with a medieval theme for its Christmas decorations—and the result is as festive as any display you'd see anywhere else in the world. At the City Hall, stone gates and arched walkways lead you to the city plaza, and nine-foot soldiers are assigned to guard the magical kingdom.
But even with this theme, the local flavor was undiminished, with Santa Claus being drawn not by reindeer but by the city's ubiquitous pedicab—-unsurprising for the city known as the Padyak Capital of the Philippines. Merry Christmas, Tabaco City!
