Ati-Atihan Festival in full swing at Kalibo, Aklan

A grand parade kicked off the Ati-Atihan Festival 2017 in Kalibo, Aklan, a report on News To Go on Wednesday said.

Residents and tourists joined the merriment, with people celebrating with their own Sto. Niño statues on the streets.

The beautiful women of Aklan joined a pageant dubbed "Mutya It Kalibo." The candidates were serenaded by Kapuso recording artist James Wright and the queen was crowned last Friday.

Meanwhile, Julie Anne San Jose and Martin Del Rosario led the celebration at the Kapuso Fiesta on Tuesday.
