Arayat, Pampanga beauty Mary Ann Mungcal crowned Miss Global PHL

Mary Ann Mungcal of Arayat, Pampanga was crowned Miss Global Philippines 2017 on Saturday at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila.

According to a report by Nelson Canlas on "Star Bites", Mary Ann also bagged two special awards including Best in Long Gown and Best in Swimsuit.

As the new Miss Global Philippines titleholder, it is her duty to promote tourism in and outside the country.

Mungcal will represent the country in the Miss Global 2017 international pageant later this year.
