WATCH: Erwan Heussaff and Seabiscuit Films showcase the beauty of the Philippines in a 1-minute vide

Erwan Heussaff creates a one-minute video with Seabiscuit Films to showcase the beauty of the Philippines

Amid the war in Marawi, the drug killings, and the daily crimes occurring in the country, it's easy to forget we live in paradise.

So videos such as what Erwan Heussaff just did is such a gift of a reminder.

The food and travel blogger collaborated with Seabiscuit Films to put together a one-minute video showcasing the wonders of the Philippines and its people, of course.

The video started with a few clips showing the best scenery of the country, with Erwan's voice over waxing poetic, "Imagine a place where the sea shimmers with all various shades of blue, where friendly people will teach you how to catch and cook your lunch."

Erwan shared the video on Instagram, with the caption, "we put together with @seabiscuitfilms to show off our country. Honestly, it's not that hard. Look at what we have to work with. Now we just need to take care of it and pay it forward. #itsmorefuninthephilippines #philippines #tourism."

Seabiscuit Films also shared the same video on its Instagram account, where they it was their "love letter to the Philippines."

Internet sensation Nico Bolzico, commended his brother-in-law Heussaff for the video he created.

"I have been in the Philippines for over 6 years now and I am proudly calling this country home. What makes it home is the people and I feel I owe this country so much, waking up everyday thinking, how i can give back," he wrote on Instagram.

He added, "Yes we have problems, but so does everyone else. It's how we tackle them that counts. So here comes this guy, @erwan, with a video that does justice to what we have in the Philippines, showing not only the beautiful natural blessings, but the people that makes this country the closest to paradise you could have! The only way to understand it is to explore it like he is doing!" — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
