Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick experiences island life in Palawan and Iloilo

Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick, best known as Queen Lagertha in the Emmy-nominated series ‘Vikings’, headlined last weekend’s annual History Con.

But what we don’t know was she had actually been in the Philippines for longer.

Before the event, where Alden Richards and the rest of the Victor Magtanggol cast surprised fans, Katheryn spent an idyllic week in the islands of the Philippines.

She first visited El Nido in Palawan where she went island hopping to Lagen and Pangulasian.

According to Huni Resort, where she stayed, Katheryn braved the markets, basked in the island life, planted trees, and concocted a signature cocktail, “The Winnick” which is now in the resort’s drinks list.
