Megan Young shares budget-friendly travel tips

Miss World 2013 and Kapuso star Megan Young shared on GMA News' Unang Balita on Wednesday some budget friendly travel tips she and her boyfriend Mikael Daez would usually do during their adventures together.

Megan said they have found "ways on how to balance it out."

If they think the accommodation and food would cost them, they would budget their airfare and take economy flights or look for good promos.

"Kunwari mahal 'yong expenses ng mga pagkain, ng mga travel expenses, so kami magtitipid kami sa place na pinagse-stayan namin. 'Pag 'yong flight namin magtitipid kami, mag-economy kami or maghahanap kaming murang flight or promo," she said.

Exploring. The first trip we ever took together was January 10, 2010. That trip to Hong Kong was only the beginning - and it's a trip that I will never forget. Aside from sharing budget-friendly travel tips, Megan also said travelers should "take it day by day."

"Enjoy-in niyo kahit may problema pa 'yan ma-eenjoy niyo 'yan," Megan said.
