DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON

These are the hours when Christmas traffic peaks

You can tell Christmas is just around the corner when the perennially bad Manila traffic turns for the worse.

According to Waze, people tend to drive longer around the Christmas season, as they accomplish holiday-related things: shopping for gifts, merrymaking with friends, and trips to the supermarket.

In fact just for shopping alone, a monthly average of 2 million navigations were recorded on the app.

According to a press statement, drives increase on the weekdays beginning at 7 a.m. and peak between 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

During weekends, drives increase at 10 a.m. and peak between 2 p..m. to 5 p.m.

If you want to avoid the mad Christmas traffic jams, consider yourself tipped.
