Netizen creates ‘travel pin board' to beat cabin fever amid quarantine
There are a lot of beautiful places to visit in the Philippines, but all unnecessary travel plans are going to have to wait until the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is under control.
A netizen wanted to remember happier times when she was able to travel the country, so she made her own travel pin board at home and plotted the destinations she was able to see.
The netizen, Cheisser Lei Anne Nava, documented the progress of her project in a series of photos on Facebook.
She turned a plain old wall covered with family photos into a large-scale map of the Philippines, complete with color-coded areas signifying each province.
She then labeled the places she’s been to with a collection of photos from her trips, showing just how much of the country she has seen.
Luzon and other parts of the country have been under enhanced community quarantine for the fourth straight week. All forms of public transportation were suspended in a bid to arrest the spread of COVID-19.
Nava obviously put in a lot of effort into her "travel pin board," but she said it was only "Enhanced Community Quarantine Project 001." --Margaret Claire Layug/MGP, GMA News
