Experience a white Christmas in Finland with this virtual tour
Do you want to experience the Christmas you've always dreamed about as a kid, with Santa Claus, reindeers and snow?
Then the Santa Claus village in Rovaniemi, Finland is the place for you.
The Christmas-themed amusement park located in the snowy region of Lapland features a charming fairytale-like village decorated with lights, and many winter attractions like sleigh-riding, skiing and ice skating.
The village is also known as the "official residence" of Santa Claus, so kids can knock on his door of his house and meet a real-life version of the jolly, gift-giving character.
But since many of us can't travel amid the COVID-19 pandemic, "Unang Hirit" took viewers an a virtual tour with the help of Finland-based vlogger Benson Dulos.
Dulos toured Santa Claus's home and even went on a real-life reindeer sleigh ride through a snowy forest.
A Finnish family also prepared for "Unang Hirit" a traditional assortment of food served at Christmas called "Jouluateria" which is their version of Noche Buena. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
