Pia and Jeremy pose with Mount Mayon behind them for a gorgeously lush photo

Pia Wurtzbach and boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey are currently in Albay upon the invitation of the World Wide Fund to visit and support the local sustainable fishing industry.

Of course they made sure to find time to visit the majestic Mount Mayon and pose for a photo.  

On Instagram Tuesday, Pia's Scottish boyfriend posted a romantic and  gorgeous picture, taken by lensman Magic Liwanag, showing Mount Mayon right behind them and a lush greenery surrounding them.

According to Jeremy, "exploring more of the Philippines" is something he and Pia have talked about since they started dating. 

He first "got a flavor" of the Philippines in 2016 when he first visited and explored the provinces and six years later, in 2022, they've "ventured to Albay, home of the volcano you see behind us- Mount Mayon." 

"The Philippines is so rich in natural beauty, resources and warm welcoming people but there are few places on earth that can be as impacted by climate disasters as this part of the world," he continued.

Speaking about how Albay had endured three typhoons in 2020 alone, Jeremy said they were in the province to help and support the fishermen "build back better" with boats, other resources and even education.

Pia and Jeremy are known environmental advocates and supporters of the WWF. They recently flew in together after spending most of their time traveling the world. — LA, GMA News
