Dingdong Dantes says 'we should all be ambassadors of our beautiful country'

Dingdong Dantes believes each Filipino should be an ambassador of the Philippines.

In a press conference, the Kapuso Primetime King said hosting "Amazing Earth" is one of the many platforms showcasing our country's wonders.

"As Filipinos, I think we should all be ambassadors of our beautiful country," Dingdong said.

"And 'yun ang ginagawa namin linggo-linggo sa programa naming 'Amazing Earth'," he added.

According to Dingdong, the program does not simply showcase the Philippines's known tourist spots.

"Minsan kahit 'di sikat na mga tourist spots, na-di-discover ng 'Amazing Earth' na merong ganto kagandang lugar sa Pilipinas," he said.

More than the Philippines' beautiful places and natural resources, the Kapuso actor said the Filipino culture shines through in "Amazing Earth."

"'Yung kagandahan ng ating kultura at pinakamahalaga sa lahat 'yung kagandahang loob ng bawat Pilipino, so 'yun talaga 'yung ating pinopromote every week through 'Amazing Earth'," he said.

In the same press conference, Dingdong said that hosting "Amazing Earth" makes him "grow as a citizen of the world."

"Amazing Earth" airs on GMA Network at its new timeslot every Friday, 9:35 p.m.
