Holy Week 2026: Cebu Pacific reminds passengers to arrive 4 hours before departure

Cebu Pacific on Thursday called on passengers flying during the Holy Week to arrive at the airport four hours before international flights and three hours before domestic flights, given the anticipated influx of travelers.

“Given expected heavier road traffic during peak travel season, passengers are advised to allow more time for traffic going to the airport,” the carrier said in an advisory.

Malacañang earlier declared April 2 (Maundy Thursday) and April 3 (Good Friday) as regular holidays.

Cebu Pacific reminded passengers that check-in counters close 45 minutes before the scheduled time of departure for domestic flights, and one hour for international flights.

Passengers can choose to check in through its mobile application or online, and domestic passengers who checked in online and do not have any check-in baggage may go straight to the boarding gates.

The carrier earlier this week announced route suspensions and frequency reductions starting April 2026, citing the impact of the ongoing armed conflict in the Middle East on global fuel prices. — LA ,GMA Integrated News
