Miguel Tanfelix shares learnings from solo travel
Miguel Tanfelix shared his experiences with solo travels and me-time on the latest episode of "Your Honor."
The Kapuso star said that he first traveled solo when he was 18 years old and went to Singapore because it was nearby and he had a family member there. Miguel said it was a gift to himself for entering legal age.
In Singapore, Miguel said he met someone who taught him the importance of living life to the fullest.
"Ang dami niyang naturo sa 'kin. As in, dun nag-start 'yung love ko for traveling," Miguel said.

"Tinuro niya sa 'kin na life is too short, kailangan mo mag-enjoy," he said.
After a few weeks, that person also traveled to the Philippines, and Miguel served as their tour guide.
Since then, he has solo-traveled to Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil.
Miguel also shared that during his time filming "Running Man Philippines" in Korea, he served as the tour guide of co-stars Kokoy De Santos and Buboy Villar.
Miguel then shared his learnings from traveling.
"Na-re-realize ko na malaki ang mundo. 'Di ba minsan, may mga tao na konting pagkakamali lang, sobrang na-da-down sila. Parang nag-fo-focus sila sa negative side. 'Di lang nila na-re-realize na sobrang laki ng mundo, ang daming opportunities pa para sa kanila," he said.
"Freedom, tapos s'yempre 'yung knowledge din. Ang dami kong na-mi-meet na mga tao tapos ang dami kong natututunan sa kanila. And of course, experiences," Miguel added.
Miguel makes his solo hosting debut with the travel show, "Planet XP." It premieres on May 2 at 6:30 p.m., with its first episode featuring Norzagaray, Bulacan.
He is also one of the stars of the upcoming series "Task Force, Firewall." —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
