eTelecare secures agreement with new client
MANILA, Philippines - eTelecare Global Solutions Inc. has signed an agreement with a new client, a wireless high-speed internet access provider the company has declined to identify. eTelecare will offer technical support, customer care, and retention services in both Spanish and English to the internet services provider, the company said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), citing its services agreement. Its experience in âserving both internet and wireless service providers on similar programs" has prompted its new client âto express confidence in eTelecareâs ability to deliver higher performance and greater value than their current outsourced provider," John Harris, eTelecare president and chief executive said. âWe expect to see tremendous opportunity for growth in this area as a respected industry organization predicts that by 2012 over 133 million subscribers worldwide will be using similar technology, compared to approximately two million today," he added. Last week, the company also agreed to expand its service agreement with Almori BPO, a move designed to assist the clientâs US customers add new communications lines or upgrade to newer or higher-tier phones. â[It] will be delivered from a new contact center located outside Managua, Nicaragua operated by eTelecare Nicaragua, a joint venture between eTelecare and Almori BPO," eTelecare said. eTelecare said it has used its US and Philippine delivery centers for more than four years to deliver customer satisfaction and average revenue per user. - GMANews.TV
