PAL seat sale offers $30 roundtrip tickets to HK

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is offering special rates for international and domestic destinations starting Dec. 14 to Dec. 26 as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations.   Special rates include roundtrip tickets to Hong Kong, Macau, and Taipei for $30, and Bangkok, Saigon, Singapore, and Jakarta for $48.   The promo also offers roundtrip tickets to Xiamen for $50, Shanghai for $60, Beijing for $80, Delhi for $108, Guam for $228, Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo (from Manila)  for $248, Tokyo (from Cebu), Sydney and Melbourne for $298, Honolulu for $308; and Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vancouver for $498.   Domestic flights are also included in the promo, with all flights to Luzon and Visayas offered at P788 for economy seats and P3,998 for business seats, and all flights to Mindanao at P1388 for economy and P4988 for business.   The special rates will apply to trips between Jan. 10 and March 15, 2012. All tickets will earn double miles under the airlines’ Mabuhay Miles program. Seats are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.   PAL will also offer daily “add ons” or freebies, which passengers can check out on the PAL website and Facebook account.    PAL executive vice-president Vivienne Tan said that the promo is their way of thanking passengers for their loyal and continuing patronage.   “PAL’s schedules and services are back to normal. We’re launching the biggest and longest promo to end the year with a bang.
