Petron to roll back premium gasoline prices by over P2, diesel by P1.70 Monday
Petron Corp., announced Saturday afternoon it is rolling back prices of its products effective Monday morning. This follows a separate report on dzRH radio which quoted Department of Energy Undersecretary Jose Layug Jr. as saying a big rollback this coming week is to be expected. "This reflects movements in the international oil market," Petron said on its Twitter account. It said the rollback, to take effect 12:01 a.m. of October 29, will include: - P2.15 per liter for Blaze 100, XCS Plus, and Xtra - P1.70 per liter for Pinoy Gasoline and Regular - P1.35 per liter for Turbo Diesel, DieselMax - P1.35 per liter for kerosene. Layug had said in the dzRH report that there was a downtrend in world prices of fuel this week. Earlier Saturday, Flying V rolled back prices of its products, including P1.50 per liter for unleaded and premium fuel, and P1 per liter for its diesel product. Last week, fuel firms raised prices of premium and unleaded fuel by as high as 70 centavos per liter, regular gas by 60 centavos per liter, and diesel by 30 centavos per liter. — ELR, GMA News
