Petron, Seaoil announce new fuel price increases, rollbacks

Petron Corporation is set implement price adjustments on its petroleum products once more, the company announced Monday. Diesel and kerosene prices will go up by P0.40 per liter effective 6 a.m. Tuesday. Last week, Petron had rolled back diesel and kerosene prices by P0.15 per liter. There will be a P0.40 per liter rollback for Petron's Blaze 100, XCS and Xtra Unleaded gasoline products and a P0.15 per liter rollback for Pinoy gasoline. Seaoil also announced its new price adjustments: a P0.25 per liter hike in the price of diesel; a P0.40 per liter increase for kerosene; a P0.40 per liter rollback for premium and unleaded gasoline; and a P0.15 per liter rollback for regular gasoline. Seaoil's adjustments will also to take effect 6 a.m. Tuesday. In its announcement on Monday, Petron said the new prices reflected movements in the internaitonal market. — BM, GMA News
