Petron rolls back LPG prices
At least one oil company is rolling back prices of its liquefied petroleum gas products effective 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. In a post on its Twitter account Tuesday night, Petron said it will roll back prices of its Gasul and Fiesta cooking gas, and Auto LPG. Petron said Gasul and Fiesta prices will be rolled back by P2.40 per kilo or P26.40 per 11-kg tank, effective 12:01 a.m. of May 1. On the other hand, it will roll back prices of Auto LPG by P1.51 per liter. The price rollbacks come a day after Petron and other oil companies raised prices of gas by 50 centavos per liter, diesel by 40 centavos per liter, and kerosene by 25 centavos per liter. Wednesday's rollbacks are expected to be a relief of sorts for consumers complaining of high costs of living. — BM, GMA News
