Siva Subramaniam, Transcom Philippines Country Manager, said the award "will further boost the company’s position as a global player that may help redefine outsourcing as an essential tool to shape a better world for emerging economies."

Also, Subramanian said: "With Transcom Philippines bagging the award,  the company has added credence and more value to the country’s reputation as the 2nd largest English-speaking Country and now the largest outsource country after overtaking India."

"... Our objectives is to look at what value we can bring to the customer, beyond the traditional expectations of faster, better, cheaper requirements of the clients wishing to go off shore," he added.

"In the Philippines, people value their work aside from having a competitive salary scale advantage. All of these are fully integrated to Transcom’s concept of taking care of the well-being of the workforce,” he said.

Transcom was chosen based on a rigorous measurement, which includes assessing its 2012 revenue growth, market share, demonstrated leadership in new product introduction and innovation, breadth of products and solutions, major customer acquisition, and business/market strategy.
