PAL increases Manila-Tacloban flights


Starting Sept. 11, Thursday, flag carrier Philippine Airlines will increase the number of flights between Manila and Tacloban City.

In a flight advisory, PAL said it will operate six round trip flights daily between Manila and Tacloban "until further notice."

PAL said the increase in the number of such flights is due to "public clamor for additional flights."

The new flight schedule includes:

PR/2P-2981, MNL–TAC, ETD 4:45 ETA 6:15, daily
PR/2P-2982, TAC–MNL, ETD 6:45 ETA 8:15

PR/2P-2191, MNL-TAC, ETD 7:30 ETA 9:00, daily
PR/2P-2192, TAC–MNL, ETD 9:30 ETA 11:00

PR/2P-2193, MNL–TAC, ETD 9:55 ETA 11:25, M/F/Sat/Sun
PR/2P-2194, TAC–MNL, ETD 11:55 ETA 13:25

PR/2P-2985, MNL–TAC, ETD 9:55 ETA 11:25 T/W/Th
PR/2P-2986, TAC-MNL, ETD 11:55 ETA 13:25

The flights will use Q300 and Q400 turbprop planes.
