Globe Telecom opens first overseas store in Italy

Expanding its business operations overseas, Globe Telecom Inc. has opened its first international retail shop in Italy, the telco said in a statement Monday.

 

"This is our first store in outside the Philippines... " Globe president and CEO Ernest Cu said. The store is along Via Capellari in MIlan and is open from Tuesday to Sunday, selling Globe SIM cards and offering telecommunication services.

 

"Thousands of our kababayans are already enjoying the innovative and value-for-money offers of our services in Italy, particularly... the Globe local Italy SIM which offers the best call rates to the Philippines," Cu added.

 

According to Globe, there are 200,000 Filipinos who live and work in Milan alone. – KT/VS, GMA News
