Petron to roll back kerosene, diesel prices; to hike gasoline costs


Petron Corporation on Monday joined oil companies in announcing price adjustments for some fuel products effective Tuesday morning.
 
In a post on its Twitter account, the company said it would roll back prices of diesel and kerosene, and increase prices of gas effective 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
 
The company said it would roll back diesel by 20 centavos per liter and kerosene by 25 centavos per liter.
 
It will raise gas prices by 15 centavos per liter.

State of calamity
 
Meanwhile, Shell will not implement its price adjustments in areas under a state of calamity due to Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong), GMA News' Julius Segovia tweeted.
 
These include Cebu City; Marikina; Cainta, Rizal; and Ilocos Norte. —Joel Locsin/NB, GMA News
