Malayan Insurance to offer P85 million worth of personal accident insurance

Malayan Insurance will offer P85 million worth of personal accident insurance next Monday, Oct. 6, the insurance provider said in a statement Monday.

The company said it has a total combined maximum limit of P85 million which all registrants with valid confirmations of cover will share at the end of the campaign.

"Reminding everyone that things can go wrong and that it is a good idea to have a backup plan when something unexpected or untoward happens,” Malayan Insurance underwriter Anthony M. Labindalawa said.

Malayan said their offer is open to all Filipinos ages 18 to 65 years old. Those interested can register through their official web site and social media account.

"All those who registered will be included in a free Group policy composed of basic accidental death, dismemberment and disability covers," the statement read.

The insurance provider aims to promote the importance of non-life insurance during its National Assurance Day on Oct. 6 as part of the Insurance Awareness Week of the Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Association. — Kathryn Mae P. Tubadeza/JDS, GMA News
