Ayala Land expects mixed-use development to generate 5,000 new jobs in Pampanga

Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) and partner Leonio Land has launched Alviera in Pampanga, a master-planned community that is expected to generate up to 5,000 new jobs when the first phase of development starts.
Located 1.5 hours away from Quezon City, Alviera is envisioned to catapult the town of Porac in Pampanga as the "new growth center of Central Luzon" and a major commercial and business hub because of its accessibility via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, ALI said in an emailed statement Monday.
The township is also five minutes away from the Clark Airport, 45 minutes from the Subic Freeport and 20 minutes from the cities of Angeles and San Fernando.
Alviera will cover 30 hectares and offer industrial lots and standard factory buildings for sale and for lease, the company said.
"Local businesses with products for export have already expressed interest in locating to the Alviera Industrial Park," ALI vice president and commercial business group head Rowena Tomeldan said in the statement, adding that the project hopes to attract international manufacturers from Korea and Taiwan.
The project also includes over 1,500 residential units, and Holy Angel University and Miriam College will be the first educational institutions in the planned township.
"Alviera is expected to create a community with about 20,000 office and industrial workers, 65,000 residents, and 20,000 students over the next 20 years of development," according to the statement. – Raffy Cabristante/VS, GMA News
