9-hour brownout in parts of Zamboanga del Norte and Sur on Tuesday

Parts of Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur may have a power interruption lasting up to nine hours on Tuesday, Oct. 28, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

 

In an advisory, NGCP said the power interruption may last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 28.

 

This will cover areas serviced by the Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur electric cooperatives (Zaneco and Zamsureco-1), it said.

 

The NGCP said this is to make way for the preventive maintenance of high voltage equipment at Sandal and Polanco Stations and preventive maintenance along Aurora-Molave-Polanco-Dapitan-Roxas 69kv line. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
