Ford Philippines sales grow by 52% in October
Sales of Ford Philippines in October climbed by 52 percent to 1,950 units propelled by demand for the Ranger, EcoSport, and Everest nameplates, the company said.
In an emailed statement, Ford Philippines said that sales last month reached the "best-ever performance for the month of October" and brought year-to-date sales to 16,514 units.
Demand for the full lineup of 13 Ranger variants in the country resulted in a 61-percent increase of sales to 787 units. So far this year, Ranger sales have reached 6,294 units, 70 percent higher from last year.
Meanwhile, EcoSport contributed 605 units. Since its launch in April, a total of 3,985 units have already been sold.
The Explorer, on the other hand, sold 80 units in October, while 938 units have been sold so far for this year.
In October, 297 units of Ford Everest were sold, while year-to-date sales increased by 19 percent to 2,736 units.
A 2015 Everest will be revealed at a global event in Beijing, China next week.
In the country, the line up of Ford was expanded with the launch of Explorer Sport and a new Ford Escape which will be available for test drives and pre-bookings in Metro Manila dealerships beginning next week.
