PAL, Cebu Pacific cancel Tacloban flights due to runway mishap

Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific canceled Sunday's flights to and from Tacloban Airport after a private jet ran off the airport's runway on Saturday.

 

The two airlines said the flights were canceled due to a notice to airmen from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, which announced shortened runway operations at the Tacloban airport on Sunday.

 

The canceled Cebu Pacific flights to and from Tacloban were:

 

 

Cebu Pacific said it had arranged additional flights to re-accommodate affected passengers, but gave no other information on these additional flights.

 

Passengers can also opt for free rebooking within 30 days from the original departure date; or avail of a full refund or travel fund.

 

Meanwhile, PAL said it was preparing replacement flights for Sunday's canceled flights, which were:
