RFM net income rose 33% to P123M in H1
Food and beverage company RFM Corp. on Monday reported that its net income for the first semester of 2007 grew 33 percent to P123.3 million due to healthier sales across all product categories. In a statement, the firm said consolidated net sales expanded by 21 percent to P3.5 billion. "Practically all product categories showed hefty growth, led by Sunkist juice at 45 percent. Fiesta spaghetti at 28 percent, Selecta Moo milk at 26 percent, and Swift corned beef at 21 percent," Jose Concepcion III, RFM president and chief executive officer said. Also contributing to the sales were the new products launched such as Sunkist high-juice and iced tea in PET bottles. White King native cake mixes. Selecta Moo ice cream.
